Dr. Michel Alkhalil brings board-certified training in Sleep Medicine and Allergy and Immunology to patients across Oakland and Macomb counties. Through AAIRS Clinic and Troy Sleep Center, Michel Alkhalil MD applies an integrated clinical approach – evaluating how sleep disorders, allergic disease, and respiratory conditions frequently intersect and influence one another. Dr. Michel Alkhalil completed fellowship training in Pediatric and Adult Sleep Medicine at Drexel University College of Medicine, Hahnemann University Hospital, and St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children. His clinical focus includes the evaluation of conditions such as obstructive sleep apnea, insomnia, and hypersomnia. Troy Sleep Center, an AASM-accredited facility, supports comprehensive sleep diagnostics for patients presenting with a range of sleep-disordered breathing and sleep quality concerns.
Allergy and Immunology
Following his sleep medicine training, Dr. Alkhalil completed an additional fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at the University of South Florida in Tampa. AAIRS Clinic provides individualized specialist evaluation for patients experiencing allergic disease, including conditions that affect the upper and lower airways. Assessment focuses on identifying each patient’s specific allergic profile and developing a care approach appropriate to their clinical presentation.
